In August 2017 I returned to Blennerville to refurbish and run the model. Although the signals are now rather too difficult to repair without taking more equipment,
the rest of the layout still runs well enough. Pretty much all of my stock ran along with the odd Cavan and Leitrim train.
Rather than gabble on about it I'll let the pictures and video links speak for themselves.
Above; four pictures are of and from the Blennerville Windmill complex where Dingle currently resides.
Below; a selection of pictures and videos of the layout in operation over the weekend.
Above; from the top of Connor Pass, a view down to Dingle itself, nestled in its well protected harbour. The only access is by the channel on the left. In the far distance, left, Skellig Michael, now famed for
its appearance in Star Wars!
Above; the state of play this year - August 2017. A very sad of affairs but is there there hope still?
